Having a pet means having a baby. You got to take care of them just like you take care of yourself (or maybe more!). Now imagine a life of a celeb. They have shoots, work trips, meetings, and whatnot! Yet they manage to have pets. Celebs like Taylor Swift and Katy Perry have adorable pets like cats and dogs. Also, cats and dogs are so common as pets, right? However, some celebs like to keep it unique and unusual. These celebs have weird, exotic pets. Check it out!
1. Reese Witherspoon
Reese Witherspoon has a farm and she loves to have pets. In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres four years ago, she revealed she got two miniature donkeys, Honky and Tonky. Her list of pets also includes pigs, a horse, chickens, goats, and dogs. Click here to watch the interview.
2. Colin Kaepernick
Colin’s family already had a dog and a cat. But, Colin always knew he wanted something different as a pet. When he saw someone on TV pet a tortoise, he knew this is exactly what he wanted. At the age of 10 years, he owned a pet tortoise named Sammy. Back then he could fit in the palm. Now he is almost 115 pounds!
3. David Beckham
David Beckham and his wife Victoria Beckham own a farm named “Beckingham Palace” wherein they have several animals as pets. In addition, the couple bought two micro-pigs, as small as your teacup! They cost them around $800 each.
4. Justin Bieber
People around Justin knew how much he loved monkeys and always wanted to pet one. So, in 2013, he was gifted a capuchin monkey, named OG Mally, by one of his friends. However, he was confiscated!

It’s a known fact that MJ owned a monkey named Bubbles. But did you know he also owned a rat named Ben when he was a kid? MJ loved Ben so much that he even wrote a love song about it!

Okay, this one’s quite weird. Elvis Presley owned a kangaroo as a pet. Since childhood, he loved animals and wanted to have a few as pets. However, he couldn’t. But when he established himself and was able to make a living, he built himself one of the best-known celebrity homes, Graceland. This also became the home to many animals including monkeys, dogs, horses, and many more!
7. Nicolas Cage
Nicolas Cage wanted to improve as an actor. So, he purchased an octopus as a pet to study the movements that he thought will help him improve his acting! Nicolas had been spending too much on lavish kinds of stuff like cars, houses, and boats. The list also included this octopus and two king cobras. Unfortunately, he had to sell the octopus to get rid of the debt!
