Channing Tatum is Out with His Feelings for Salma Hayek
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Channing Tatum said, “I mean, she was one of my first crushes. But I do have to say that’s almost the comfort zone for me.” Tatum was mortified for dry humping her during the movie’s opening scene. He said even though he tried to be professional, he was having a panic attack. Hayek was quite gracious about it, and she ensured his comfort by asking him to pretend that she was his wife.
The lap dance scene in question was praised for its chemistry and humor. It also created speculation about whether Hayek and Tatum had a real-life connection, but all rumors have been denied by Tatum, but he did reveal that he has had a deep love for his co-star.
With all that’s going on, it’s clear that Hayek has a fan who got to work with her on Magic Mike’s Last Dance. However, now it seems like Tatum’s crush on her actually grew stronger after they got a chance to film together. The stars share great chemistry, and they enjoy working with one another too. With it all, the fans would definitely be eager to see them on screen for future projects, too.

Tatum even discussed Hayek’s character in the upcoming movie. He was disappointed with the fact that there weren’t any strong female characters within the series, and then Hayek came in for the role of Maxandra Mendoza, a woman of wealth trying to rediscover after her divorce. Mike Lane, the character played by Tatum, and Hayek then get close while working together on a revamp at the West End show to give the touch of Magic Mike.
Tatum said, “I think we wanted [Hayek’s character] specifically because I feel some sort of more responsibility that the other movies weren’t about women, they were about men. And we tried to Trojan-horse some real feel-good, I don’t want to say woman empowerment, self-introspection stuff in there.”
With all that’s been revealed, fans all around have been expressing support and excitement for the potential relationship between their favorites. The internet has just flooded up with posts, memes, and tweets centering around the candid confession of Tatum and the Magic Mike moment.
