According to THR, Christian Bale opened up about playing Frankenstein’s monster in an upcoming film directed by his The Dark Knight co-star Maggie Gyllenhaal. The Empire of the Sun star said:
“I’ve got to shave my head next week [for a movie]… I asked them to please let me hold off on doing that but everyone was going, ‘What’s wrong with Bale? What’s up with him?’ I said, ‘Just let me get through the groundbreaking and then I’ll be off to join you.”
While talking about his transformation, Bale expressed gratitude for working with the “wonderful” Maggie Gyllenhaal along with other talented cast members.
