Jennifer Lopez was married to Mark Anthony for 10 years (2004–2014) and had two children, Max and Emme, whereas Affleck was married to Jennifer Garner from 2005–2018 and had three kids, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.
In April 2021, Affleck and Lopez started making headlines again with the rumor of a romance brewing between them. Eventually, they went public and had a wedding in July 2022. They have been enjoying marital bliss on the Caribbean island of St. Barts. The power couple’s New Year celebration in St. Barts was going well until there seemed to have been trouble in a jewelry store. The couple was spotted having a heated argument as they were exploring high-end jewelry stores, especially Bulgari. According to pictures obtained by the Daily Mail, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were seen diving into the world of luxury by going jewelry shopping. When Jennifer Lopez was trying out some of the Bulgari pieces, Ben Affleck was initially helping her but was later seen throwing his hands in the air out of exasperation.
Jennifer Lopez was a beauty for the sore eyes, with a chic white crop top that perfectly hugged her and showed off her toned muscles. She paired it with a pink maxi skirt and a matching Chanel bag. Ben Affleck complemented his lady with a green sweater and khaki pants.
Before the debacle, the couple was enjoying their holiday with a stunning party at their home. Margot Robbie and Michael B. Jordan were among the many A-listers who were invited to the party. The house was filled with Christmas spirit and sported a grand tree and decorations. Lopez adorned a green gown and sang a rendition of Jingle Bells, a classic Christmas holiday song.

While talking to Variety, Jennifer Lopez opened up about how she was worried about making her relationship public. She opened up by saying that both Affleck and she had PTSD from the media frenzy the last time they were together.
“As artists, we have to follow our heart and this is me following my heart and doing something that maybe everybody didn’t think was the best idea, but I had to do it. But we’re older now. We’re wiser. We also know what’s important, what’s really important in life, and it’s not so much what other people think. It’s about being true to who you are.”
In 2022, Lopez told Rolling Stone how media attention destroyed their relationship.
“It’s funny because Ben and I were together, and we were so in love. It was one of the happiest times of my life. But also, there was this other thing happening where we were being criticized, and it really destroyed our relationship from the inside out.”
It was only last year that Jennifer Lopez admitted that she felt like she was going to die when her and Ben Affleck’s relationship ended. She said that she spent the next 18 years in a spiral before she found love again in Affleck around 2021. Ever since then, the couple has been inseparable.
One can only hope the couple works out their romance the second time around.
