While the series has been surrounded by many controversies, one particular detail has intrigued everyone. In the third episode, there is a shower scene in which Koch’s Erik is seen nude. Full frontal nudity in movies and shows is not unheard of, but some end up creating more buzz than the rest. In a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen did a countdown of the ‘Most Iconic Full Frontal Moments’. He began the countdown at number five, which featured Jude Law’s scene from The Talented Mr. Ripley.

Number four featured the full-frontal scene of Kate Winslet in James Cameron’s Titanic, which is one of the most popular romance movies of all time. The third one happened to be the final scene of 1997’s Boogie Nights in which Mark Wahlberg’s porn star character reveals his prosthetic genitalia.

This was when Cooper Koch decided to break his silence to reveal that he had not used a prosthetic for his naked shower scene. He said: “Just to say, mine was not a prosthetic.” Cohen replied:

Well, that was going to be my next question! Congratulations to you, Cooper! You’re very blessed, aren’t you?

Koch quipped, “Well-hung,” which elicited laughter from the audience. Cohen then proceeded to complete the countdown he had started about the most iconic full-frontal nudity scenes. It has to be noted that this was not the first time Koch has done such a scene as he previously bared it all in the 2022 horror film Swallowed.

Monsters sheds light on Lyle and Erik Menendez’s trials for the murder of their parents and also explores the brothers’ claims that their parents had s*xually, emotionally, and physically abused them. Erik Menendez has criticized Ryan Murphy and his decision to make a show based on this infamous part of their lives.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Cooper Koch claimed to understand Menendez’s point of view. He told the outlet:

It makes sense that he would feel that way. This is the worst part of his life being televised for millions of people to see, and not to mention in this dramatized, fictionalized, Hollywood TV way. I get how he feels, and I stand by him.

Koch has stated that he believes the Menendez brothers and sympathizes with them. He also told the outlet that he hugged them when he visited them in the prison.

Monsters is available for streaming on Netflix.
