Filming of Daredevil: Born Again, the reboot of the popular Daredevil series, picked up back again last month. Since then, fans have been showered with pictures from the show’s sets in New York City. These pictures have given fans a peek into what is in store for them in the upcoming miniseries.

While it is all fun and games to see these leaked pictures from the show’s set, Marvel doesn’t seem too eager to let that continue as they draw the curtains by increasing the security on the set. This does not come as a surprise as Marvel has a reputation for keeping things tightly under wraps, save the few times Tom Holland ruined their plans by giving spoilers in promotional interviews.

Marvel Is Increasing the Security of the Sets of Daredevil: Born Again

Fans have seen quite a bit through the pictures leaked from the sets of Daredevil: Born Again. From a fight featuring the new Marvel nemesis White Tiger to Matt Murdock’s (Charlie Cox) reunion with Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) and Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson), fans have got an idea about certain things regarding the show.

However, as they say, too much of nothing is good and Marvel seems to know that. In the new paparazzi pictures that have surfaced online, it can be seen that the production team of the show has hung huge black banners outside the sets so that no one can peep inside the buildings where filming is taking place.

This tactic will surely prevent the show’s spoilers from showing up on the internet and most fans do not seem to mind it at all. Some fans have also pointed out that Marvel Studios might have decided to do so because the actors are filming with their suits on. Whether this assumption is true or not will be discovered when the show comes out.

It is public knowledge that Tom Holland has a history of giving spoilers. He has done it one too many times for the Studios to ignore so the Russo Brothers had to physically keep Holland away from the Avengers: Endgame script.

Another time the Uncharted star said that Spider-Man was going to space in Avengers: Infinity War on Jimmy Kimmel Live while being surrounded by four of his Marvel co-stars. The issue? Spidey going into space was not public knowledge at that moment. So, Holland not being a member of the cast of Daredevil: Born Again is an added plus for the Studios.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has some of the most well-known characters that have been ever made, thanks to Marvel Comics. These comics provide enough source material for the studio to spin a new story about the characters every once in a while.

However, the question that arises here is how much the actors who play these characters know about their comic counterparts. Vincent D’Onofrio answered this question during an interview with Comic Book, saying:

“I’ve seen everything that involved Fisk that’s up to this point. I mean, there’s some of the new runs, the Kingpin runs that I haven’t looked at yet, but as far as everything, any canon that connects Fisk I’ve read. All the runs, all the issues, and everything.”

D’Onofrio went on to say that his favorite runs of Kingpin are those by Frank Miller. So, Wilson Fisk’s future seems to be in safe hands as long as D’Onofrio is playing the character. Daredevil: Born Again is set to be released in 2025.

All seasons of Daredevil are available for streaming on Disney+.
