David Ramsey responds to the Green Lantern twist in the finale
The eight year running series, Arrow, finally saw the series finale this Tuesday. After what felt like thousands of speculations and hopes from the committed fans, and few teases thrown here and there, the finale finally gave the fans the kind of closure they needed for so long.
Alert: Spoilers of the finale
Just before the ending of the finale episode, while Diggle is seen loading a moving man, something flies through the dark nightly sky and crashes near him, into the ground. This sudden movement causes him to fly backwards into the van. When he further investigates the environment around him, he discovers a small box in the crater. Scared, he slowly opens the box. This is where the camera shifts to his face and we do not see the contents of the box. However, we could see green glow emanating from inside it. This is an indication for the fans that the content could be the Green Lantern ring.
What do the production team have to say?
“We’ll still see, believe it or not,” Ramsey said. This statement itself provides a lot of hope for the fans that, maybe, the saga has not ended yet.
“This was something that was worked out over a year ahead with DC Entertainment,” Arrow co creator, Guggenheim said. “We very specifically negotiated and discussed the parameters and I feel like to say anything beyond what we have showed you would violate our agreement with DC.”
What more is in store for us?
This Green Lantern tease itself is a major one from the finale. Fans, however, will simply need to keep their hopes high. Arrow maybe over, but Arrowverse is not.
Which all super-villains turned into superheroes?
