DC: Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam Movie Has Begun It’s Filming
“Be the hardest worker in the room.”
Black Adam star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson declares production on the DC Extended Universe movie is formally in progress.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson – who plays Black Adam himself – declared the beginning of shooting on a recent post on Instagram, highlighting a clapboard photo with the Black Adam logo on it.
“History in the making amazingly energized and what a humbling moment to share with you guys,” Johnson wrote: “Formally commencing the very beginning of filming our movie, Black Adam.”
The former WWE Champion continued, “Our Director and maestro, Jaume Collet-Serra, our Academy Award nominee (Joker), Head of Photography, Lawrence Sher.
We have an elite all-star production crew – amazingly skilled, electrified, submitted, and centered on increasing current standards and conveying something exceptional for the world. This one is an honor.”
A spinoff of the 2019 DCEU movie Shazam!,
Black Adam follows Johnson’s eponymous DC anti-hero — the wayward champion of the wizard Shazam who was conceded powers before Billy Batson.
The upcoming movie will feature various members of the Justice Society of America, which includes Doctor Fate, Cyclone, Atom Smasher, and Hawkman.
Black Adam was initially scheduled to open this December.
But Alas!, it lost its initial release date after its production was delayed due to the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.
Toward the end of last month, Black Adam commercials took over New York City’s Times Square to declare another delivery date: July 29, 2022.
The movie Black Adam is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra.
It stars Dwayne Johnson as the main protagonist and actors like Noah Centineo, Quintessa Swindell, Cusati-Moyer, Aldis Hodge, Marwan Kenzari, Sarah Shahi, James, Puncture Brosnan, and Bodhi Sabongui.
The movie Black Adam is all set to release in the theaters on July 29 of the following year.
