Christian Bale’s The Dark Knight is the perfect example of how Batman’s suit evolved and suited the caped crusader. However, in the comic book, we can examine one flaw that Bruce Wayne pointed out when he encountered a version played by Michael Keaton in the film series. The flaw turns out to be the stiffness of the neck in his suit which troubles him while moving his head freely.

DC Regrets One Drawback From Michael Keaton’s Batman Movie

In the comic book Batman #140, DC has finally addressed that one problematic thing about Batman’s suit in Michael Keaton‘s film. In the book, the caped crusader is tarped in his mind in which he encounters various versions of Batman out of which comes Keaton’s from the 1989 film series in which Batman could be seen struggling to move his head freely due to the stiffness around his neck in the suit. This flaw has been called out in this comic book which reminds us that this was a notable imperfection in the film.

However, through multiple other and modified Batsuits, DC has made sure to stay away from such a regretful mistake and as a result, Batman’s suits are now as portable as possible which helps the caped crusade move his entire body freely. While Keaton’s suit undeniably looked stoic, it created problems for the actor even on the sets while filming his movie.

However, in the comic book, Bruce Wayne lightheartedly acknowledges this error as an advantage while kicking the other version of Batman. He’s able to give a solid kick to the back of the head of the Batman who had a stiff neck and found difficulty in moving his head quickly.
