DCU Star Feels Bad About Ezra Miller’s Career Threatening Controversies Ahead of ‘The Flash’ Release

The trailer release of the DC movie at the Cinema Con recently had critics and experts praising Ezra Miller. They are currently undergoing medical help for his poor mental health.

Actor Michael Shannon is worried about Ezra Miller’s acting career. He is playing the role of General Zod in the DC’s The Flash. The Perks Of Being A Wallflower actor was accused of burglary and harassment charges. Amidst the controversies and investigations, the CEOs of DC Studios Peter Safran and James Gunn haven’t confirmed or taken any action regarding Ezra Miller’s future.
During an interview with media outlet The Direct, The Shape Of Water actor expressed the current issues taking place in the DC. He said-
“But I hear there’s been some—I’ve gotta admit, I’m not looking at the trades every morning, keeping my finger on the pulse of things, but I know there’s been some issues. It seems like they’re ready to let it out.”

While talking about the movie, the Man Of Steel actor spoke about his co-star Ezra Miller. He mentioned how the Justice League actor was kind to him all through the filming of The Flash. He said-
“If you’re talking about Ezra [Miller], I thought Ezra was lovely—very kind to me when I was there. It’s difficult to talk about, but I always give people a lot of slack in this business, because there’s a lot of people in this business that have issues. And some people have more privacy than others.”
Talking about the legal mess Ezra Miller has landed themselves into, the actor added-
“Any time somebody is out in the spotlight getting picked on, I feel for them. Even if it’s warranted, it’s still a horrible situation.”
Michael Shannon openly supports the Trainwreck actor. Previously, Jason Momoa was criticized for standing for Ezra Miller. The drama around the personal life of Ezra Miller has not only affected them professionally but also the release of The Flash got delayed multiple times.

The DC movie premiered at Cinema Con 2023 and went on to receive great positive reviews starting from the critics to the film exhibitionist. Due to the 30- year old actor’s scandals, the movie has been in the news a little late in comparison to its scheduled release time.
While talking about the continuation of The Flash franchise, the director Andy Muschietti revealed that there are no plans for The Flash 2, and a lot depends upon how well the movie is received. He said-
“We didn’t talk about it. I think that we’re all waiting to see how this movie does. Of course, there’s excitement about continuing the story, especially if this movie is successful.”
The talks of continuing with Ezra Miller as Flash is also a big question now as their acting career has taken a backseat due to their mental health issues and controversies. On being asked about the health condition of the actor at the Cinema Con, director Andy Muschietti replied-
“Ezra is well now. We’re all hoping that they get better. They’re taking the steps to recovery. They’re dealing with mental health issues, but they’re well. We talked to them not too long ago, and they’re very committed to getting better.”
Ezra Miller issued a public apology that mentioned their poor mental health condition and the treatment they are going through just before the trailer release of The Flash.
DC’s The Flash is set to hit the theatres on June 16, 2023.
