The popular shonen anime Demon Slayer launched its promo for season 4 a few days ago, featuring the Hashira training arc. The trailer showed that Tanjiro and his friends are going through a harsh training routine under the supervision of current Hashiras.

However, the one mystery that the Demon Slayer author, Koyoharu Gotouge, left for the fans is Nezuko’s immunity to sunlight. Although the plot doesn’t actually reveal how she has the ability, it might be the real plot for season 4, followed by Tanjiro’s Hashira training camp.  In addition, the Anime production has one more surprise for their fans.

Tamayo, a demon doctor, is well-versed in demon physiology and pharmaceuticals. As Nezuko gained the mysterious ability to withstand the sunlight, Ubuyashiki Kagaya felt that it might be time for them to know more about the Demons, and perhaps extensive research with Tamayo can help demons like Nezuko to get back normal.

At the end of trailer, one of Kasugai Crow, who referred himself as messenger of Ubuyashiki, can be seen offering Tamayo an invitation to Ubuyashiki resident, the Demon Slayer Corps headquarter, to fight againt the Muzan.

To everyone’s surprise, the messenger crow’s voice artist was none other than Show Hayami, who has worked on many iconic characters and series, including Sosuke Aizen of Bleach. Demon Slayer Fans are overjoyed and expressed their excitement on social media. Some fans even speculating (as fun) that this is all part of Aizen’s grand plan, connecting two of famous shonen works together via one of their favorite voice actors.

For the first time, the Demon Slayer Corps are extending their hands to the demons for help. It seems that an all-out war against Muzan may soon happen, so they have already started their preparation. In Hashira training arc, we may see Tanjiro understands his new powers, while Nezuko will play a center role in the season 4.

Muzan has piqued a keen interest in Nezuko

Muzan Kibutsuji, the King of Demons and Leader of the Twelve Kizuki, has never shown interested in Demon Slayer Corps activity. Even in his infamous speech to Tanjiro and Giyu Tomika, he justified his killings similar to acts of natural disasters, showing high self-esteem as a former human aristocrat.

“Persistent. You’re all seriously persistent. And it bores me. It sickens me from the bottom of my heart. Whenever you open your mouth, you only remember that one dumb notion about avenging your parents, kids, or siblings. You’ve all survived. That should be enough for you,” Muzan said.

According to the series, it’s known that Blue Spider Lily can nullify the demons’ weakness in sunlight. However, that is extremely rare and even Muzan with all of his years of search has yet to find. Tanjiro, guided by his mother, was the only one among his siblings who actually have seen that flower.

However, what if he may not be the only one? Suppose the little playful Nezuko trailed his brother to the Blue Spider Lily Garden and mesmerized by the flower he took one. Since that flower doesn’t show any side effects, Tanjiro might never know that Nezuko has consumed it until now. If it proves true, it’ll explain the mysterious sunlight nullifying ability that only Nezuko processed.
