The world was taken aback when Kylie Jenner, a reality TV star, was allegedly linked to Timothée Chalamet, a French-American actor who is considered to be among the best of the younger generation. When it was reported in April that the two of them were enjoying their time together, it set off romance speculations.
Travis Scott who shares children with Kylie Jenner, has found it difficult to accept the new relationship. Travis Scott’s recent behavior may have suggested that Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner were on the verge of breaking up. However, there is a status update regarding their relationship as of right now.
Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet are ‘still dating’
Sources have now mentioned that reality TV star and beauty mogul Kylie Jenner is still very much dating popular actor Timothée Chalamet. The duo sparked romance rumors back in April and surprised everyone as this was the couple no one saw coming.
In recent news, TMZ reported that Chalamet ‘dumped’ Jenner after her ex and baby daddy dissed him in his recent track. The source added, “She’s telling people that things between them naturally fizzled out because they’re both busy and traveling. But friends are whispering that Kylie got dumped. Kylie is playing it casual, but her friends know this must sting as Timothée was the first guy she really spent time with after splitting from Travis [Scott]. She even introduced him to her family.”
But later TMZ reported that they have spoken to multiple sources close to the couple who confirmed that just because Kylie and the Wonka star haven’t been seen together in public doesn’t mean they’ve split.
TMZ said their sources say everything is cool between the two, they’re still an item, and ‘any reports that say otherwise are false.’ Another source warned fans, ‘not to believe everything they read’. According to multiple sources, the duo is still going strong and the rumors about them splitting up are false.
Travis Scott ‘dissed’ Timothée Chalamet in Meltdown
Rapper Travis Scott, who shares children Stormi and Aire with reality TV star Kylie Jenner, has had a hard time adjusting to the fact that she had moved on after their five-year on-and-off relationship with someone very popular, appreciated by fans across the world and is dubbed as has internet boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet.
Being an artist, Scott believed that music was the right way to express how he felt, so in his upcoming album Utopia’s track Meltdown, he seemingly dissed Chalamet, referencing Willy Wonka, a character the actor will be seen playing in his upcoming movie Wonka. The lyrics of the track are;
“Wrappin’ the cheese, wrap around me ’cause I’ve got property (Wrap, cheese, wrap) / Chocolate AP and chocolate the Vs (Vs), got the Willy Wonka factory (Vs) / Burn an athlete like it’s calories, find another flame hot as me, b**ch,” he raps.
Fans also took to their social media to react to the lyrics, stating that they never thought there would be a time when people were going to witness Travis Scott dissing Timothée Chalamet. Scott and Jenner called it quits earlier this year, but according to People magazine, they remain close friends and have a great co-parenting relationship.
Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet are reportedly ‘taking things slow’
It was known back in June that the unusual couple was taking things slow as Jenner is enjoying this time and seeing where things could go with them, noting that she is being mindful of her kids as her main priority is always going to be to be a great mom to the kids.
A source at the time noted, “They are keeping things casual at this point. It’s not serious, but Kylie is enjoying hanging out with Timothée and seeing where it goes. It’s been really fun for her because it feels a lot different than her past relationships. It’s new and exciting for Kylie and she’s having a lot of fun.”
US Weekly reported at the time that Jenner had only hung out with Chalamet a couple of times, so things are not that serious, but she is enjoying her time and she likes what she sees. Talking about Chalamet;
“Timothée is a total gentleman and treats [Kylie] with respect. He’s very charming and he makes her laugh, and he’s easy to talk to. He’s not like any of the other guys she’s dated before and, although he may not seem like her type, they have really good chemistry.”
The duo has decided not to go public with their romance as they just want to see where things between them will lead up to.
