Did you know all of Marvel Avengers’ Finishers?
In the end, Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix disclosed some of Marvel’s PS4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia gameplays this month, giving public a first look at the game. Obviously, the game is in Alpha at the moment, so everything shown is subject to modification and loads of polishing and refinement, but now the Marvel fans have a general idea what to expect from the Single Player action game. And one thing in the fresh footage that we saw a lot is the finishers for the various heroes of the game.
Reddit user posts about this
That said, over and above Reddit, a user has produced a practical video of every finisher that has been disclosed to date, using both Youtuber JorRaptor’s mixture of the above and new films. As you can see, every hero in the game has an array of distinct finishers that are dynamically used depending on the fighting scenario, probably.
Finishers with unique animations
As you can see, there’s a lot of unique animation work going into these finishers, which are pretty character-specific. And this is good to see. It would have been easy for Crystal Dynamics to roll out more generic finisher animations across multiple different characters, but it appears it’s really taking the time to realize finishers for each hero.
Marvel’s Avengers is in development for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia. This is an official story synopsis:
The official story synopsis
“Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source. The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.”
