Fans are known to spot things and now, a new fan catch from No Way Home might just spoil a few elements for us in the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder.

Reddit user u/KingEuronIIIGreyjoy may have revealed some details for Thor: Love and Thunder, thanks to a little moment in No Way Home. According to the user, during a news broadcast in Spider-Man 3, a chyron ca

As the theory on Reddit goes, Christian Bale’s villain, Gorr the God Butcher, could cause Zeus to visit New Asgard trying to shore up alliances between the other deities in the MCU. But with Thor away and Valkyrie the new king of New Asgard, it looks like some strife may come up with the other thunder God. Obviously, this is all speculation for now, but this might also point to No Way Home overlapping with the timeline of Thor: Love and Thunder, just like Spider-Man: No Way Home happens — partially — during the same time as Disney+’s Hawkeye.

What will be the focus in Thor: Love and Thunder?

The fourth phase of the MCU has caught up with various characters since the events of Endgame, especially Spider-Man, but we do not really know much about what Thor has been up to since joining the Guardians of the Galaxy or how New Asgard and Valkyrie are getting along. Thor’s next film will explore these plot threads while also bringing back Jane Foster and Lady Sif, where the former will become Thor herself. Gorr and possibly Zeus will also appear, as the two will help flesh out the Asgardian corner of the MCU in a post-blip world.

It’s not really a surprise that fans have noticed this small Easter egg as very little has been officially revealed about the God of Thunder’s forthcoming adventure. A recent poster leak of Thor 4 did tease some new costumes for the main characters and a glimpse of Jane wielding Mjolnir, but that poster was soon debunked by director Taika Waititi himself. Apart from that, we do not know how Gorr, Jane Foster, and all other characters will appear in the movie, leaving apart what the journey will be for Thor and other Asgardians. Will they stay on Earth, with the gods of other pantheons coming in play, or does a new home in the cosmos await Thor and his fellow Asgardians?
