Lynda Carter used to play Wonder Woman in the 1970s TV show and also made an appearance in Wonder Woman: 1984 (2020) as Asteria. It was her golden eagle armor that Diana acquires in the battle with the Cheetah. Carter also appeared in the post-credits scene of the film, which confirms her presence in the upcoming sequel. This proves that despite having a nebulous fate in her earlier life, she still exists today.
