“Do you want me to touch you like that”: Marvel Star Simu Liu Breaks Silence on His Feud With Ryan Gosling in ‘Barbie’
It’s been a week since the Hollywood blockbuster, Barbie movie directed by Greta Gerwig made its debut on the silver screen. Already the movie has been getting a lot of praise as well as it has been crushing the box office against its production budget.
As the movie has been gaining a lot of popularity, the casts including the directors and other actors and actresses are now busy taking up interviews and attending press days, talking about their experience filming for Barbie movies.
However, there are two main casts, Ryan Gosling and Simu Liu who seem to have not-so-friendly bonds with each other. It was noticed when the whole cast for the movie where together in Canada.
Simu Liu’s Clash with Ryan Gosling Exposed
Marvel star Simu Liu didn’t share anything about his clashes with Ryan Gosling but in fact their one conversation during press was something that took the attention.
The Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings star took to Instagram after he shared his recent update where he is with his other cast members of the Barbie movie where attending a press date in Canada.
Earlier in this story, a new video surfaced showing One True Loves star trying to slip to arm around the La La Land star’s waist while posing to take a picture.
Not only there, in fact the lead star of Blade Runner 2049 was again seen asking Liu to take off his arm by saying, “Don’t hold me there, man. I mean, do you want me to touch you like that?” To which the Asian Bachelorette star responded by saying “Oh, it’s too tender? Fair enough.”

This fair-heat conversation between the two leading stars became viral on social media which left fans thinking that the two Hollywood are not on good terms now.

Simu Liu Shares His Experience Going to Barbie Gym with Ryan Gosling
Talking about their experience while shooting for the movie. The star shared about an event that happened while shooting for the movie where the Mattel toys were in the Barbie gym together so that they could bond and channel their inner ‘Kenergy’.
“It was just like, let’s work out, because that’s what I think ‘Kenergy’ is about. Kens would really care about that.”
“So, just as an excuse to bring us all together and get us doing man things, Greta put us in a gym together, and we worked out every day leading up to the start of principal photography. And it was really fun.”
Kim’s Convenience star also shared that he and Gosling were brought up together in the Barbie gym by the director Greta Gerwig where they both worked out every day.
“He was always there earlier than me and he always stayed later. It just speaks to the discipline that this guy has, and I think it really pays off in the movie. He’s got a couple scenes where you get to see a bit of that Ken body, and it’s pretty shredded,” he shared
Liu shared how he took inspiration from Gosling as he was among the most dedicated as well as disciplined actors he has met.
Is There Any Tension between Ryan Gosling and Simu Liu?
Well, this was one of the conversations the duo star had with each other. However, there is no such word either from the Hollywood actor or from the other cast including the director of the movie.
After the Canadian press got over, the Blood and Water star shared a photo taken during the Canada press event and captioned a message where he said,
“I’d beach off with this Kenadian again in a heartbeat. He is the best human in every way, especially when he jokes around with us on the carpet and set, infecting all of us with his Kenergy.”
Liu shared how good Gosling was and how he used to make others laugh with jokes on the carpet as well as on set. However, he didn’t specifically clarify their viral conversation video.
