Uncle Ben never appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But with Doctor Strange’s presence in town, it seems like Uncle Ben can debut in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Doctor Strange’s magical touch might bring Peter Parker’s first mentor, Uncle Ben, to debut in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The tragic death of Uncle Ben in The Amazing Spider-Man represented a major step on Parker’s road to becoming a superhero. The story of Uncle Ben was so familiar that even Spider-Man: Homecoming skipped it. When Tom Holland’s Spider-Man appeared in the franchise, it was only Aunt May who took care of Peter Parker. While Holland’s Spider-Man has a connection with Uncle Ben, the man himself never appeared in any of the MCU’s Spider-Man films.

How ‘No Way Home’ Will Bring Uncle Ben?

Thanks to Spider-Man: No Way Home; Marvel’s new concept of Multiverse will get more exposure in the film with the help of Doctor Strange. As revealed in the record-breaking trailer of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange will cast a spell that will thrive to erase Parker’s identity as Spider-Man. But the attempt would break the interface between the multiverses and will bring Doc Ock, Electro, Green Goblin, Sandman, and many other familiar faces from other franchises.

Apparently, it’d be more intriguing for the fans to encounter if the opposite happens and Uncle Ben doesn’t show up as one of them. While Garfield, Holland, and Maguire look completely different, Peter might even fail to recognize Ben from another multiverse. Thus, Uncle Ben’s resurrection in Spider-Man: No Way Home will work as an emotional dotes only when both Peter and Aunt May will acknowledge Uncle Ben’s return. Well, Doctor Strange can arrange that as well.

From Spider-Man: No Way Home’s trailer, it seems like Spider-Man exploits a multiversal crack to enjoy dual life and ignoring all the exploits he might be creating. As a result, the Marvel Cinematic Universe will finally get an opportunity to honor Uncle Ben’s importance by giving it a new twist yet on an old classic style.
