“Dragon Ball” is one of the most well-known anime series in the world. The tale began as a manga written and drawn by series creator Akira Toriyama in the mid-’80s, and has since grown to include video games, films, and several extremely successful anime series. Of course, “Dragon Ball” has had its ups and downs over the years, as have most long-running properties. However, “Dragon Ball Super,” which aired from 2015 to 2018, drew in a large number of new viewers and generated a spin-off film, “Dragon Ball Super: Broly.” Long-time fans and critics alike praised the film, particularly for the way it gave the eponymous character grief and depth – a feature that surprised many viewers because Broly had previously been presented as a joke. The fanbase of the franchise was naturally ecstatic when the sequel, “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero,” was unveiled. However, for a long time, the filmmakers kept the majority of information about the film under wraps.

The official summary for Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is as follows:  “The Red Ribbon Army was once destroyed by Son Goku. Individuals, who carry on its spirit, have created the ultimate Androids, Gamma 1 and Gamma 2. These two Androids call themselves “Super Heroes”. They start attacking Piccolo and Gohan… What is the New Red Ribbon Army’s objective? In the face of approaching danger, it is time to awaken, Super Hero!”

Which characters will appear in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero?

The cast will include both old and fresh stars. Fan favourites such as Goku, Gohan, Pan, Piccolo, Krillin, and Vegeta are scheduled to play pivotal roles in the film, albeit in unexpected ways for some viewers. Pan will also have an “integral” part in the film, according to executive editor Akio Iyoku, so fans can expect her to get some considerable character development.

Many fans will be anticipating something quite different from “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero,” and they will not be disappointed. The Red Ribbon Army’s genius scientist Dr Hedo and his android henchmen, Gamma 1 and Gamma 2, are set to appear in the sequel as new adversaries. Hedo is a new character, yet he looks a lot like Lord Jaguar, the primary antagonist of “Dragon Ball Z: Bio-Broly.” However, it remains to be seen if they share any personality traits.
