  • Elon Musk continues to take digs at Taylor Swift after she endorsed US presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
  • Musk's first post was publicly criticized and now he has dared Stephen King to name his favorite songs from Swift.
  • The Invisible String singer referenced to an infamous comment from JD Vance in her post endorsing Harris.

Taylor Swift might have forgotten that Elon Musk exists, but the same cannot be said about the latter who keeps posting about the pop star every now and then. The one-sided feud between Musk and Swift is currently about their personal political opinions regarding the presidential race in the U.S.

Recently, well-known horror author Stephen King expressed his love for the hitmaker’s songs. Although Swift has yet to respond to his appreciation, Musk made sure to respond to the post on X. It is no secret that the two billionaires have contrasting opinions on who should be the nation’s next president, but Musk taking it this far might be a hint at his insecurity.

Elon Musk has made his stance about his political opinions known all too well through his constant endorsement of Donald Trump on social media. Besides this, he is continually taking digs at Taylor Swift, who has openly endorsed Kamala Harris in an Instagram post in which she wrote:

I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.

Shortly after the post, the owner of X tweeted something addressing Swift that was rather bizarre and concerning.

He was publicly slammed for this tweet. However, that certainly did not deter him from taking digs at the Cruel Summer singer again and this time it was through a reply to an X post from Stephen King in which he proclaimed his love for Swift.

In response, Musk dared King to name his favorite songs from the singer. Although the author did not respond immediately to the question, he made sure to give a hilarious answer by posting the YouTube link to the song Hey Stephen. What was even more impressive was that he shared Taylor’s Version of the song.

The response from Musk was totally uncalled for because the author had merely expressed his admiration for the songstress and her songs. However, the Tesla founder seems to have clearly made it his agenda to bring Swift down.

Why Did Taylor Swift Sign Off as “Childless Cat Lady” As She Endorsed Kamala Harris for US President?

This is not the first time Swift has endorsed the Democratic candidate for the US President. She even stood up for Joe Biden when he was in the White House run. During her recent endorsement of Harris, she signed off the post as “Childless Cat Lady”, a reference to a 2021 Fox News interview with JD Vance, Trump’s running mate (via Fox News).

During Vance’s 2021 bid for the Senate in Ohio, he mourned that the country was being run

via the Democrats, via our corporate oligarchs by a bunch of childless cat ladies… And they want to make the rest of the country miserable, too … You look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people without children.

Last month, the comment was also criticized by famous TV presenter Oprah Winfrey (via The Independent) during her surprise speech on day three of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
