The highly talked-off topic which was initially perceived as a joke among the masses eventually started being considered as an actual possibility. And many big names from various fields have chimed into the discussion.

The fight has been surrounded by various rumors, delays, and involved parties reconsidering their situations but now the fight deserves a major update.

News had been around that for the aforementioned cage fight, some external agency will act as a manager. With the number of MMA fighters showing their support for their favorite, it was readily assumed that the fight will be organized by UFC.

However, Elon Musk recently took to Twitter, as he often does to update the long-awaiting fans on the newest development on the matter. That his and Mark Zuckerberg‘s fight will not be managed by MMA but will be a joint endeavor through their companies. Collaboration certainly contradicts the point of having a showdown with your adversary but geniuses do things differently it seems.

This news was well-received among the masses and promised some serious entertainment.

Musk versus Zuck: A Charitable Deal

In his post on Twitter, the SpaceX CEO announced that the fight will be live-streamed on Twitter and Meta, which is owned by Zuckerberg. He emphasized that the fight will not be any of the modern forms of combatting. Rather something of a wrestling sort, in ancient Rome.

The Tesla CEO clarified that the fight will be “nothing modern at all”. And that he has advanced as far as speaking with the Prime Minister and Minister of Culture of Italy to decide on an “epic location” for the event.

Concluding his tweet, Musk added that all the proceeds from this fight will go to veterans and that the event and everything done for the event will pay respect to both past and present-day Italy.

This sort of goodness is not expected to come from a wretched situation like this one but it brings free advertising for Itay tourism and a good collection for the veterans. Although the former is not needed.
