Rupert Grint and Emma Watson had different perspectives on commemorating the end of the Harry Potter franchise. While Grint expressed interest in getting tattoos that referenced the movies and their characters, Watson ruled out the idea of getting inked. On the other hand, Daniel Radcliffe, who played Harry Potter, expressed his desire to get tattoos but joked about the challenges of doing so due to the nature of his work, which often required showing a lot of skin in various projects. Emma Watson said,
“I love tattoos. But I love them on other people. In fact, I have a Pinterest account and a whole board of tattoos that I like but I would never want one for myself. I don’t think I could pull it off. My own self image would not allow it.”
Tom Felton, known for his portrayal of Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter franchise, didn’t just harbor a personal interest in getting a tattoo; he playfully tried to convince his fellow cast members to join him in the venture. Felton mentioned that they had discussed the idea of getting tattoos, possibly inspired by the lightning bolt symbol associated with the franchise. Though he found it to be a nice idea. However, Felton revealed that they all eventually decided against it before taking any action.
Why didn’t Mark Ruffalo get An Avengers Tattoo?
The close-knit group of original Avengers cast members from the 2012 film chose to celebrate their strong bond by getting matching tattoos. Reminiscing about the heartwarming experience, the Oppenheimer star recently shared the story during an interview. Expressing his own enthusiasm for tattoos, the actor revealed that he has six of them, and one of those meaningful tattoos was inked on the evening of the Infinity War premiere.

When it came to Mark Ruffalo, the Marvel star had a different stance on the idea of getting matching tattoos to symbolize their exceptional camaraderie. I don’t want to be part of your Hollywood inside game.” In contrast, the other original Avengers cast members delightedly took part in the delightful sequence, with Scarlett Johansson taking the lead in getting the tattoo. While stars like Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth enthusiastically embraced the idea, Mark Ruffalo chose not to participate in the plan.
