Erica Mena Lied About Her Pregnancy To Avoid Arrest Following Racial Comments On Love & Hip-Hop

In a surprising turn of events, Love & Hip-Hop star Erica Mena was arrested last weekend in Atlanta. Reportedly, Erica Mena was among the four people who were arrested on Friday at a lounge. As per the police reports all hell broke loose when the group was asked to leave. Not only did Mena and her friends get all physical with the police officers, but reports have been making rounds that Erica Mena lied about her pregnancy to get out of the situation.

Erica Mena Falsely Claimed Pregnancy to Evade Police Arrest

Only a few days after making racist remarks about her co-star Spice, the Love & Hip-Hop star Erica Mena has found herself in a chaotic arrest. Mena along with other three people is said to have been arrested by the local police after a tumultuous incident at a local lounge on Friday.

As per the police reports which has been obtained by TMZ, the matter went out of hand when security asked Mena and her friends to leave the area. The situation was quick to heighten as both parties got into a fight.

Reports have been around that Mena attacked the police officers, while they were trying to remove her from the lounge. One of the security guards also claimed that Mena had bitten his forearm, while she kicked another officer on his face during the affray.

Despite all her efforts when Mena was finally removed from the area and arrested, she made fake claims about her pregnancy. Even though the initial cause of the confrontation is unclear, fans are shocked to see this insurgent behavior of Erica Mena.

Erica Mena’s Legal Counsel Rushes to her Defense  

As the incident unfolded, Erica Mena’s attorney Drew Findling, was quick to come out in her defense. Talking about the same with TMZ, Findling confirmed that Mena was not pregnant and also said a proper investigation would be carried out.

Not only this, the attorney also stated that the police officers used unnecessary force against Mena and also punched one of her companions four to five times. They then stated that Mena regrets some of her actions and they are looking into the matter accordingly.

As for the others who have been arrested which include Bambi Richardson and Zellsawg, according to APD were trying to prevent officers from restraining Mena all the time. Hence all of them were booked for misdemeanor obstruction.
