Eternals’ Producer Nate Moore Reveals The Oddest Jack Kirby Superpower
Nate Moore, the producer of Marvel’s upcoming Eternals, recently revealed that the film will bring Jack Kirby’s oddest superpower to the MCU.
The upcoming Marvel’s Eternals will not only include a new set of powerful superheroes but will also bring Jack Kirby’s unusual creations to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The Uni-Mind
In a recent interview, the producer of Marvel’s Eternals, Nate Moore, revealed that the film will bring MCU’s most unusual and unique superpower on screen. “What makes them different from other groups we’ve had, including the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy, is that they can pool their energy and create something called the Uni-Mind,” he said.
Moore also revealed that the Uni-Mind is a concept that Kirby used in 1976. It allowed the Eternals to exaggerate and increase their powers. However, each Eternal is connected in some way or the other to do so. Thus, they can’t create a Uni-Mind if they are on the opposite sides of the universe. This simply implies that each Eternal have to be in proximity with one another as it is perhaps an amplification device but require all the power Eternals possess collaboratively.
An Experiment By Kronos Catalyzed The Uni-Mind
Furthermore, the Uni-Mind that was introduced in Marvel Comics is a bit different from that what is going to be included in the MCU. The concept first debuted in 1977’s Eternals #12. It showed up as a result of an experiment conducted by Kronos who managed to amplify the power of the Eternals. As a result, it allowed the superheroes to pool their intelligence and abilities for the sake of composing new energy, the Uni-Mind.
In the MCU, it looks like this exact concept is going to be linked with the Eternals and will allow them to shape up their abilities and amp up their family.
Well, despite multiple issues, Moore’s words felt like the Uni-Mind will be prominently employed at the right point in the film. Whenever it’d appear, fans will be happy and intrigued to discover it. But for that, we all have to wait till November 5, 2021.
