“Every family has a story”: Princess Diana’s Closest Ally Julia Samuel Begs Her Two Sons Prince William and Prince Harry To Stop Quarreling Like Toddlers
The content of the recently released memoir Spare by Prince Harry is filled with claims against his family especially his brother Prince William. It also contains in-detail accounts of some of the embarrassing events of his life. Overall the central theme of the book as the title suggests is about always being second to his older brother. Whether it be related to royalty or just simple family dynamics, the Duke of Sussex has been the “spare” in both cases. And after stepping down from his royal duties, he has decided to share his perspective of being a second-born royal.
However the prince’s late mother Prince Diana’s confidante Julia Samuel is apparently not happy with the younger Duke’s decision to call out his brother and his family in public. Samuel took to Instagram recently to address her thoughts about Prince Harry’s claims.
Late Princess Diana’s Confidante On Prince Harry Exposing His Family
Recently Julia Samuel one of the closest allies to the late Princess Diana took to Instagram to express her feelings about the royal family drama. As Samuel had been a confidante to the late princess, witnessing the division between Prince Harry and Prince William apparently hurt her. Samuel guided the two estranged brother’s mother through her darkest times while she was alive. Therefore she wishes that the two make up with each other. Especially Prince Harry who has exposed some very private stuff about the family in the public.
She mentioned how after a family member’s death “major disputes” are likely to arise. Samuel said, “where we love most, we hate most.” Although she did not mention anyone in particular her words indicate it was the rift between the two British royal brothers. Further, the royal confidante also seems to respond to Prince Harry’s claims about always being second to his older brother. Samuel shared that there is no “favorite child” in any family. People are taking her words to be a concerned request from her side.
What Claims are in Prince Harry’s Memoir
Apart from the many embarrassing revelations like the time his private part got “frostbitten”, Prince Harry also made various claims against his family. He has shared the bad moments that happened between him and his older brother Prince William. According to his claims, the Duke of Cambridge once pushed him onto the ground and “tore his necklace”. Moreover, the Duke of Sussex also accused his older brother of “lunging” at him.
Furthermore, according to the younger royal son, he had been treated unfairly even while growing up. Always treated as a “spare”, he shares his family gave him a smaller room compared to his older brother. With that, there are many other revelations and accusations filled in his autobiography.
