Every Stranger Things Character Who Returned For The Fourth Season
Stranger Things is an American Television series meant for streaming on the Over The Top platform of Netflix. The series is created by the Duffer Brothers under the production of 21 Laps Entertainment. The series revolves around the genres of horror, science fiction, and drama.
Stranger Things season four has been newly released on May 27, 2022. It consists of a total of seven episodes. The second set of the season is to be released later in July. The audience seems to respond very positively to the latest release. Most of them find it much darker and more mature than the preceding seasons.
The new season tends to answer many questions and has also seemed to have returned with some familiar faces from the past of Stranger Things. Spoilers ahead. Let us have a look.
Dr. Martin Brenner
Dr. Martin Brenner played by Matthew Modine, was introduced in the first season of the series. He was shown as a senior research scientist and the Director of Hawkins National Laboratory, responsible for the experiments on several children. He poses as the main antagonist throughout the series. He was attacked by the one of the monsters and was appeared to be killed in Season One. However, a scene from Season Two did hint that Dr. Brenner could be alive.
Dr. Sam Owens
Dr. Sam Owens played by Paul Reiser, is the one to replace Director Dr. Brenner in the Hawkins National Laboratory. He was also made to contain the strange events in Hawkins, Indiana in 1983. He is back to help the protagonist Eleven with her powers and save Hawkins. He helped Jim Hopper in adopting Eleven as his daughter, officially.
Billy Hargrove
Billy Hargrove played by Dacre Montgomery, is the older stepbrother of one of the other characters’ (Max) older step-brother. He is seen as one of the major antagonists in the series. He and Max didn’t really share a good relation due to the prior sufferings of abuse. Although, the strength of their bond was proven ultimately. He eventually gets possessed by the Mind Flayer, a monster from The Upside Down dimension. After he gains consciousness, the character sacrifices himself to save Eleven.
Suzie Bingham
Suzie Bingham played by Gabriella Pizzolo, is the long-distance girlfriend of Dustin Henderson. The Salt Lake City, Utah native is shown to have a nerdy personality and is fond of science, technology, and reading fantasy novels. She was one of the minor characters of the series yet didn’t fail to make an impact. She played a huge part by knowing the Planck’s Constant and was of a great help.
Barbara Holland
Barbara Holland played by Shannon Purser, more commonly referred to as Barb, was the best friend of Robin Buckley. She then meets Nancy Wheeler, a popular girl from school, which makes her to begin ignoring Robin more often. Soon after, she disappears out of nowhere, which leads Nancy to begin finding her. Barbara is later discovered to be killed from an attack by the Demogorgon in The Upside Down.
The rest of the main characters played by Millie Bobby Brown, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfward, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and more continue to make an appearance in Season 4.
