Ben Affleck’s ex-wife Jennifer Garner wasn’t bothered by her ex’s marriage to Jennifer Lopez because she had “her wedding” and didn’t miss anything. As part of her 50th birthday celebration, she invited her friends and the community to join her. During an interview with Town & Country, Jennifer Garner revealed that her birthday celebration turned into a wedding-level affair.
On July 16, 2022, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were married in Las Vegas. They were engaged years ago but had a long break during which Ben Affleck was married to Jennifer Garner. Regardless of their relationship statuses, the kids are always put first – with their well-being in mind. The three reunited for a sweet moment of co-parenting. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner had been separated for some time before Affleck proposed to the Bronx-born actress.
According to an insider,
“The two women respect each other as mothers and people. They talk to each other and have had numerous conversations. They know they are going to be part of each other’s families for life through this marriage.”
After Lopez and Affleck’s Las Vegas wedding, Garner welcomed her into her family with open arms. The source noted, “Jen welcomed J Lo into her family, officially, after they got married.”
As a result, Ben Affleck makes his ex-wife Jennifer Garner hang out with Jennifer Lopez and her kids so that his kids respect both their moms. Affleck and Garner have three children: Violet, 16; Seraphina, 13; and Samuel, 10.
During Halloween 2021, Garner, Lopez, and Affleck were spotted Trick-or-Treating in the same neighborhood. However, it wasn’t quite a family affair. Affleck’s and Lopez’s kids had been spending much time together. So they wanted to spend Halloween night together as well.

After Affleck and Lopez’s honeymoon, the ex-wife reunited with their son Samuel at a poolside hangout. According to HollywoodLife, the trio was spotted at a pool in Pacific Palisades, an upscale neighborhood in Los Angeles. The Lopez/Affleck/Garner family continues to excel with their co-parenting.
The outing marks the former couple’s first public reunion since Affleck married Lopez in Las Vegas and went on a honeymoon to Paris with their children. The couple also brought along the “Let’s Get Loud” singer’s children, Max and Emme Muñiz, and Affleck’s two daughters, Violet and Seraphina Affleck.
This showed that Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck, and Jennifer Garner are rock stars in parenting, and the focus is always on the kids.
Co-parenting among the three is a breeze
Motherly, kind, and considerate, Jennifer Garner vows to co-parent with her children for their benefit. In light of their co-parenting relationship’s progress, she no longer fears being unable to dance with Affleck at their children’s weddings.
Affleck has also opened up in an interview about the importance of being able to co-parent with Garner. Besides feeling lucky that Garner is the mother of his children, he also said that you could not break your bond with someone with whom you share a child.
The former couple feels it’s important for kids to see their parents respect one another and get along, whether they’re together or not.
Likewise, Jennifer Lopez agrees with Marc Anthony’s approach to co-parenting. In the past, they held hands with their daughter for a photo and attended her school’s holiday concert together.
Because Affleck and Garner’s co-parenting skills are already in place, it’s safe to say that Lopez and Anthony’s kids are getting along well. These parents seem determined to maintain this status quo.
