The Kylie Cosmetics founder, who graces the cover of the spring/summer 2023 issue of the magazine in a latex outfit, opened up about her famous lips and her makeup empire.
In a recent interview with Homme Girls, Kylie Jenner spoke about her insecurities and how people have misconceptions about her plastic surgeries. The former model explained,
“I think a big misconception about me is that I’ve had so much surgery on my face and that I was some insecure person, and I wasn’t. Yeah, I love full lips and wanted full lips, but growing up I was always the most confident person in the room.”
While she admits to getting lip filler, Jenner says that people think she’s had extensive plastic surgery on her face, which is not true. However, she had one lip insecurity thing that led her to get lip fillers, which she claims.
“I was the girl performing for everyone. I had my one lip insecurity thing, so I got lip filler, and it was the best thing I’ve ever done. I don’t regret it. But I always thought I was cute.”
Although the founder of the cosmetic company has been open about using lip fillers, it wasn’t always like that. In a 2015 episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the reality star finally admitted to using temporary lip fillers after much speculation. However, she later told fans on social media in 2018 that she got rid of all her filler.
In an interview with HommeGirls, the makeup mogul shares that makeup is her passion and love in life, and she’s constantly working to elevate and extend the core line of her brand, Kylie Cosmetics.
Jenner says that since becoming a mother to her two children, Stormi and Aire, her philosophy on beauty has changed. She sees her features in her children and has grown to love herself more because of it.
She says that motherhood has made her look at herself differently and appreciate her beauty in a new way.
Kylie Jenner Criticized For Denying Plastic Surgery Rumors
The renowned reality TV star is facing criticism from her followers after she denied rumors regarding her plastic surgery. During an interview, the makeup tycoon claimed that the idea of her having undergone extensive plastic surgery is a “misconception.”
Although she has acknowledged using fillers in the past, Jenner maintains that her fans have misunderstood the extent of her procedures. She stated that people underestimate the transformative power of good hair, makeup, and fillers, which has led them to assume that she has had surgical work done.
Many of her followers took to social media to express their dissatisfaction with her statements, with some calling her a “Fake a** clown” and others blaming her for promoting unattainable beauty standards.
