Tony’s Sacrifice In Endgame

Keeping this in a loop, a fan theory claimed that Stark’s sacrifice wouldn’t have occurred if he knew it already. As a result, despite sacrificing his life to reverse Thanos’ snap effect, he’d have invested time to think a way out of it.
The Winnable Future
The events of What If…? and Loki echoed a lot of doubt on Doctor Strange’s assertion. As per Strange, there was only one way in which the Avengers could defeat Thanos and save the MCU. But this apparently falls short when one accepts the fact that Doctor Strange was asserting through a limited field. It was Thanos’ decision to sacrifice Gamora to get the Soul Stone in Avengers: Infinity War. It was perhaps one of the most tragic scenes of the movie, especially when Thanos was viewed as the protagonist. But as per a fan’s theory – Thanos already knew the price that he had to pay at some point in his life in exchange for the Soul Stone. And that is why he adopted Gamora so that he could use (sacrifice) her.

After acquiring all the Infinity Stones in Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos echoes “I am inevitable,” right before the snap. But a fan theory highlighted that his statement could have been true (or maybe it is) if only he knew about the Time Variance Authority. That’s the only case where his “inevitable” line would have been well justified.
