Matrix star Keanu Reeves’ house was recently robbed by burglars who stole a firearm. According to the sources from law enforcement, burglars in Ski masks broke into his Los Angeles house and escaped before the cops arrived.

The incident took place on Wednesday, 6th December evening, around 7 PM, when the Police department of LA received an anonymous phone call about a possible trespasser near Reeves’ property. But the cops could not find anyone when they arrived at the location.

The police returned to the property at around 1 AM when the alarm rang. They found a few men dressed in Ski masks on the security camera trying to break into Keanu’s house. The robbers did so by smashing windows and stole a firearm before making their escape.

There were plenty of hilarious reactions by fans to the burglary incident at Reeves’ house, especially to the fact that the culprits managed to take the firearm. Twitter X is flooded with memes reacting to the incident and netizens have connected the incident to Reeve’s popular film franchise John Wick, a neo-noir action-thriller.

One reacted to the incident writing, “John Wick 5 will be a documentary.”

A fan wrote, “John Wick 5 is about to be based on a real story.”

The above-mentioned tweets show fans’ anticipation for the next part of the John Wick film series after John Wick: Chapter 4 was released this year in March.

Previously, a 38-year-old man named “Bryan Dixon” trespassed Keanu Reeves’ property 6 times trying to prove that they were somehow related. Reeves’ lawyer had to ask the court judge for a temporary restraining order to protect Reeves and his wife Alexandra Grant as Dixon had been harassing them for a few months.

In another incident, an intruder entered Reeves’s house through an unlocked door while Keanu went out and the cleaning crew inside his house left the front gate open. As they got suspicious, they called the cops. They found that the woman got naked, took a shower in his bathroom, and took a dip in the pool.

Keanu Reeves has been a part of two major film franchises, Matrix and John Wick. In 2020, the makers of John Wick ännounced that there would be a fifth installment to the film franchise. Later, the team focused on working on John Wick: Chapter 4  and gave a conclusion to the series. However, it was announced that they will still be making “John Wick: Chapter 5.

There will also be a first spin-off film from the John Wick franchise in the form of Ballerina, which is expected to be released in 2024. Len Wiseman will direct the film. Shay Hatten will be writing the script for the spin-off who previously wrote John Wick: Chapter 3 and John Wick: Chapter 4. 

After the success of John Wick: Chapter 4  Lionsgate, the streaming platform for John Wick announced that the script for John Wick: Chapter 5 is in progress.
