A year ago Jen Shah was arrested on the charges of wire fraud and money laundering issues. As per the court records, her telemarketing scam included ripping off a huge number of people with fake items. And also it came to light that her luxurious $3.9 million Salt Lake City home did not actually belong to her. Instead, it is the property of a real-estate company called Univesco Inc. The reality star’s finances have been shady and suspicious for a long time.

Shah has been penalized with a restitution amount of 9.5 million dollars. And along with that 11 to 14 years of jail time. Out of the total amount, 6.5 million dollars has been subtracted by forfeiting her counterfeit items. Also, her actual prison penalty was for 30 years followed by 5 years of supervised release. But after a plea agreement, her sentence has been slashed down to less than 15 years.
