“Felt strange”: Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, Courteney Cox and More Unknowingly Made Paul Rudd Uncomfortable on Friends
Paul Rudd the MCU star opened up about his experience of working on the fan-favorite sitcom Friends. Rudd came on Friends in the ninth season as the love interest of one of the characters Phoebe Buffay who was played by Lisa Kudrow. As the character of Rudd was married to Buffay he also had a role to play in the final episode of the show. Recalling his experience on the show’s final, Rudd recently said that it felt strange.
Paul Rudd Felt Strange on Friends Set
In a candid interview, Paul Rudd opened up about his time on the well-known sitcom Friends. Recalling his time in the final episodes of the show Rudd said that it felt strange among all the other stars of the show.
During his conversation on The Heart Show, the Ant-Man star said “It was really fun, and they were great! The whole thing was a bit surreal, I must say, to be a part of that — because I came on really at the end.”

Further talking about this the actor also revealed that he never thought that he would be in so many episodes as he was in. Talking about this Rudd said “I never knew that I was going to be in as many [episodes] as I was. But it also felt strange. I was in that last episode, and I just thought, ‘I shouldn’t be here. I’m getting a front-row seat to things I’m not supposed to see.’ They were all crying, it was all emotional, and I was just like, ‘woah!'”
Despite feeling strange on the last episode of the show, the actor was seen at the 2021 reunion of the Friends cast. However, Rudd ensured to give most of the spotlight to the main cast of the show.
Paul Rudd To Return with The Invite
Paul Rudd is all set to return to the big screen with The Invite along with Amy Adams and Tessa Thompson. The movie is said to be an adaption of Cesc Gay’s Goya-winning 2020 Spanish comedy Sentimental which gained a lot of success in Italy and Switzerland.
The story of this movie is said to revolve around Joe and Angela couple whose 15 years of marriage is in a rut. The script of The Invite is written by Emmy nominee Rashida Jones and Academy Award winner Will McCormack. As of now, there are no updates on the release date of the movie.
