Florian Munteanu’s Deleted Scene From Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings
The Disney+ release for Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings has a scene where a major character sacrifices his life. However, it didn’t happen in Shang-Chi’s theatrical release.
Razor Fist Sacrifices His Life
Now that Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings have been released on Disney+, a new aspect has been also added in its plot. With that being said, in one of Shang-Chi’s deleted scenes, Razor Fist, a character played by Florian Munteanu, sacrifices his life. However, this is slightly different from what happens in the post-credit scene of the film when he stands on Xialing’s side.
The Pep Talk Battle
During the “Pep Talk,” Razor Fist and Katy get huddled towards a destroyed building, and there Katy fails to gather the courage to get into the battle because she isn’t a superhero but just a valet attendant. At that time it was Razor Fist who approaches Katy and tells her that he is from Romania and an amputee who does not belong here either. He tries to motivate Katy by telling her that he has seen her driving and firing a gun better than many men out there in the army. That is how Katy agrees with Razor Fist’s point that there is nothing at all important as to stop that monster in front of them.
However, when Katy agrees to fight the monster, she finds her bow outside the destroyed building and as Razor Fist thrives to get her bow and throws it towards her, his soul gets out of his body. As a result, he dies in the heroic sequel but much of his shots remained incomplete. While Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings are available to stream on Disney+, these deleted scenes are only available at Vudu.
As far as the pandemic is concerned, Shang-Chi has been a great success for the franchise. While it managed to earn a box office collection of $220 domestically, it earned around $430 million worldwide. For all those who still haven’t watched this Marvel film, Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings is available to stream on Disney+.
