Surprisingly in 2023, as the show got added to Netflix and Peacock, it received an immense surge in popularity, which prompted NBC Universal to work on a new spin-off series. But as the fans went back to watching the series on the streaming platform, they mentioned one cameo actor that they wished had stayed longer.

After Suits, starring Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams, and more, was added to the streaming platforms Netflix and Peacock, a lot of ardent fans, along with news, not only watched the show but also helped in pushing NBCUniversal to work on a spin-off series.

Apart from a great and compelling storyline, Suits had great cameo roles for the actors who were just happy to be a part of the show. One such character appeared in season two, a former lawyer, Zoe Lawford, who plays Harvey Specter’s love interest but only in three episodes. Their chemistry is undeniable, and why shouldn’t it be? Zoe, played by Jacinda Barrett, was Gabriel Macht’s wife.

Even though the character was in the season for three episodes, she became one of the fan-favorite characters on the show. She was one of Harvey Specter’s most liked girlfriends who managed to leave a lasting impression on the audience. ScreenRant mentioned that Zoe Lawford suited as the best partner for Harvey Specter as she challenged his playboy character in a way no other love interest was able to do.

She matched his wit, and their chemistry was off the charts. Fans loved how they looked on-screen and how genuine their relationship felt, even if it lasted only for three episodes. The actress has been a part of projects including The Real World: London, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, Bloodline, and more.

It’s interesting that when the show premiered, no one knew that Jacinda Barrett was married to Gabriel Macht because the couple has always been very private about their relationship.

They got married in 2004, and Suits capitalized on their undying chemistry on the screen. Fans really wished that Zoe Lawford could appear in more episodes, but unfortunately, she didn’t.

In a recent conversation with People, actor Gabriel Macht revealed that he has moved out of the United States with his family. He added,

I don’t tell anybody where I live because I like to keep that under wraps. I got out of town, and we’re exploring the world.

The actor noted that he grew up in L.A. and lived in New York for many years and had spent half of his life on the East Coast and half of his life on the West Coast, so as of now he’s just exploring. He recently decided to reprise his character for the Suits spin-off series Suits: L.A.

Talking about his return, he shared that he had very little interest in coming back as an actor because he had spent so much time doing it that he believed that this time he had was a time for him to really raise his kids and do the creative stuff.

Macht, who is now a creative partner and executive shareholder in Bear Fight Whiskey, shared with the publication that he’s done some commercial work as a brand ambassador, but now he wants to be a partner in a company that makes sense.
