The 53-year-old songstress, Jennifer Lopez mesmerized the whole world by giving an outstanding performance at the Super Bowl in 2020. She headlined the event along with another popular Latina artist, Shakira. As per her documentary, she was unhappy sharing a stage with the latter. Even though the Superbowl drama reemerged after the former’s documentary, Halftime released on Netflix, J.Lo recently shared a throwback of the memorable event.

In a video she shared on Thursday, she was seen with her youngest kid, Emme who helped her mother relax before the artist went to the stage. Along with the clip, she wrote in the caption, “my lil’ coconut gave me all the energy I needed to go out there.”

It was clear that the positive energy of the singer’s “#mysunshine” successfully reached her as she emitted her “#mamabearenergy” on stage.

Emme, whom the former shares with her former husband, Marc Anthony along with Max, also shared the Super Bowl stage with their mother. They have been proving their talent by singing alongside their mother on numerous occasions.

The Selena actress also shared another throwback video of the 2020 SuperBowl where she gave a sneak peek of the preparations she did before giving her best to the main event.

Though the talented singers rocked the event at the time. What many would have not expected was a behind-the-scenes drama that embroiled beef between the duo. In her Halftime documentary, she even shared having the “worst idea” performing alongside the Hips Don’t Lie, singer.

“This is the worst idea in the world to have two people perform at the Super Bowl. It was the worst idea in the world.”

She even expressed her frustration with the limited time, the headliners were allotted to complete their entire performance.

“If it was going to be a double-headliner, they should have given us 20 minutes. That’s what they should’ve f**king done.”

However, it was clarified that the duo was not involved in any feud as they had a problem with NFL authorities regarding the poor management of their event.

Halftime is streaming on Netflix.
