Gisele Bundchen Feels Free and Empowered After Leaving Tom Brady, Still Has Not Cut Her Ties Off With the NFL Legend
NFL player Tom Brady and Victoria’s Secret supermodel Gisele Bundchen ended their 13-year marriage last year in October 2022. The former couple amicably decided to split, and now they are co-parenting their children together.
Bundchen and Bardy share a son, Benjamin, 12, and a daughter, Vivian, 9. Following her divorce, Bundchen is now looking forward to focusing on building her career. The NFL legend, on the other hand, has retired from football; however, he isn’t completely off the sport.
Gisele Bundchen chose to prioritize her career after separating from Tom Bardy
After being together for more than a decade, Gisele Bundchen and Tom Bardy decided to end their relationship. The two mutually decided to call it quits, as Bundchen explained that the reason for their split was their different approach toward life. The former couple has moved on in their respective lives and is focusing on their endeavors. The 42-year-old supermodel is excited about her life post-divorce. A source revealed that
“She has been sad about the end of their marriage, but at the same time is excited for her future.”
Even after their separation, Bardy and Bundchen are still in touch for the sake of their children. An insider said,
“Gisele and Tom still communicate for the kids and have a good co-parenting relationship.”
Being a mother, Bundchen has always prioritized her children, but now she is focusing on herself as well. Bardy’s ex-wife has involved herself in her eco-friendly endeavors. It seems like Bundchen has figured out what she is passionate about, as right after stepping into it, she was named the first-ever Environmental and Community Projects Advisor for luxury watchmaker IWC Schaffhausen. According to a source close to Bundchen,
“She really wants to invest in herself and her ideas. Environmentalism through eco-conservation is truly what she is passionate about, and we will be seeing a lot more from her on that front very soon.”
It indeed seems like the former Victoria’s Secret model has found her kick in what she is doing currently. Even so, the model appeared at the star-studded Met Gala event in a recycled dress. An insider said,
“Gisele felt so free and empowered at The Met. Her dress was a symbol of that. She picked the dress because it made her feel free and powerful. Gisele had so many friends there and was so close with Karl. She had an amazing time.”
Bundchen last walked the red carpet of the Met Gala along with her then-husband Tom Bardy in 2019.

The controversial king of the NFL, Tom Bardy, decided to officially retire from football earlier this year. Being exhausted from life and wanting to recharge himself, Bardly decided to quit football. Following his retirement from the NFL, it was revealed that Bardy would join Fox Sports as their lead analyst.
Although Bardy has retired from the NFL, he is not in the mood to leave the sport entirely. The 45-year-old retired quarterback has acquired an ownership interest in the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces.
