Good Morning America 3 in Dire Straits as Amy Robach, T. J. Holmes Reportedly Inches Away From Signing ABC Exit Agreement Following Ill-Fated Affair
Since their affair came to light back in November 2022, T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach have undergoing mediation with ABC. After about a month-long review it has recently been confirmed that the pair have signed their exit agreement from the network. It was also shared by the company in its statement that before deciding to cut ties everything was looked into with careful consideration. Seemingly after getting suspended for their romance the two will permanently be leaving their workplace. And to make matters worse, the review and the discussion around the pair included various accusations of workplace misconduct mostly a bit unnecessary ones. The mediation is still ongoing however as far as anyone knows, the conclusion is obvious.
T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach Are Ready to Exit ABC Permanently
The Good Morning America 3 co-hosts T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach are going to leave the show permanently. They had been suspended from the show since November 2022. It came after their workplace affair made it into the headlines. And since then long discussions and reviews have been carried out to reach a final decision regarding the situation. Seemingly the review work about their job did not stop them from displaying their affection for each other in public. According to Page Six, a source said,
“Of course, he’s taking [the investigation] seriously, but he’s confident he’s done nothing wrong that would merit him to lose his job,”
Also, the reason it took such a long time for the review to reach it decided that the network wanted to be “careful” with its review. And after all that, the decision is most probably going to end in the termination of Holmes’s employment from the show. Recently sources told TMZ, that the decision had been reached by ABC to cut ties with the pair after an “extremely contentious” conversation.
Moreover, some weeks ago sources also revealed to Page Six that both of them getting fired was the most probable outcome. Although reportedly, the Network did want Robach to stay, however after several “productive conversations” including the pair’s lawyers the decision will most likely terminate their contract. Additionally, their departure agreement reportedly includes a contract payout.
How Did The Affair Begin?
The workplace affair between T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach came to the surface in November 2022. The two worked together on Good Morning America 3 together since 2020. Soon afterward the air got suspended in front of their show. And in the following month, Holmes’ divorce from his ex-wife Marilee Fiebig was finalized. Their marriage lasted 13 years and they share a daughter named Sabine.
And very conveniently, around the same time, Page Six reported that Robach was also about to finalize her divorce from ex-husband Andrew Shue. Therefore both Holmes and Roback are done with their marriage and are focusing on each other at the moment apparently.
