It looks like Greta Gerwig is having a great time in her life not only by becoming successful in her career, specifically after the release of the new Barbie movie alongside Nolan’s Oppenheimer but also in her personal life.

The star took the social media platforms recently by announcing that her family alongside her husband, Noah Baumbach who is famous for directing movies like White Noise and Marriage Story have welcomed a new member to their family.

The Hollywood actress, screenwriter, and director has welcomed a new member sharing with Noah Baumbach to her family.

Lady Bird director revealed that the newborn baby is the younger brother of their first 13-year-old son, Harold. Her husband also shares another child with his ex-wife Jennifer Jason Lee. 

During Greta Gerwig‘s interview with Elle, the Little Women director shared her journey of becoming a great director as well as her personal life journeys too. 

“I’m about to be 40, And there’s something about that where you’re like: Oh! I’m properly middle-aged now.’ All parts of life feel extremely activated.”

Furthermore, Gerwig showed her joy for welcoming a new child by sharing a new picture of their son: 

 “He’s a little Schmoo. I don’t know if you can tell energy from the picture, but that’s very much his energy.”

“The little guy is sleeping through the night. But I’m still doing that thing where I wake up, every hour to 90 minutes, and just hover. You just keep wanting to look at that baby. So I’m slightly in a twilight state.”

The No String Attached star also shared about how she has been taking care of their new child and also she shared about her feeling of becoming a mother again. Gerwig previously announced that they are expecting a new child back in December last year during an interview where she was invited to talk about her new movie, Barbie.

Both directors first met back in 2010 when they both worked together for the Greenberg movie. The very next year after meeting, Gerwig and Baumbach both started dating. In 2012, the director couple also worked as cowriters together for Frances Ha

The famous director didn’t only make it a boring Babie movie but also she added a little extra adult sense of humor and an interesting plotline which has made the movie quite interesting for the younger audience.

The movie was released alongside Nolan’s Oppenheimer. However, on the first day itself, the movie showed a great response post its release.  Reports from credible sources claim that the movie has currently grossed around $22.3 Million in the US alone whereas Nolan’s movie has just grossed around $10.5.

On today’s date, it’s confirmed that Gerwig will be directing upcoming two new movies for Netflix. The plot for the new movie for Netflix will be inspired by the Narnia book franchise written by C.S. Lewis.
