Harry Potter Author JK Rowling Confesses Her Life Has Been Very Bad After Speaking Against Transgender Rights
JK Rowling, the face behind the Harry Potter series needs no introduction. The 57-year-old author spoke about the backlash and online trolling of her views on trans women and transgender rights. In the recent episode of The Witch Trials Of JK Rowling podcast, the renowned author opened up about the reactions to her 2019 tweet. She was well aware of the fact they her views expressed on trans women would not be taken in a positive light. Harry Potter fans and transgender rights activists reacted negatively to her tweet in a negative way. She was labeled transphobic for speaking against transgender rights.
JK Rowling came in support of a British researcher Maya Forstater, whose tweet on transgender women and how they cannot change their biological s*x led to her being fired from a job. She is worried about her family’s safety as she has been getting death threats after the twitter controversy.

The list of controversial tweets on transgender rights by JK Rowling, not only brought multiple labels to her name, but also divided her strong Happy Potter fan base worldwide.
“Trans people are who they say they are and deserve to live their lives without being constantly questioned or told they aren’t who they say they are. I want my trans followers to know that I and so many other people around the world see you, respect you, and love you for who you are,” said Emma Watson, who played Hermione in the Harry Potter series.
She has on and off been under the scanner by transgender rights activists, Happy Potter fans, and even the Hollywood fraternity for her discriminatory tweets. The celebrated author faced backlash for her tweet on labeling trans women who do not menstruate every month.
