Harry Potter Star Michael Gambon, Best Known for Playing Dumbledore, Passes Away at 82
The Hogwarts has turned into a directionless, silent, and dark place today as the headmaster of the wizard institution left for his abode. Legendary actor Michael Gambon died at the age of 82 leaving the entire world and the Harry Potter family totally broken and devastated.

The British-Irish actor had been a part of the Harry Potter franchise for four films. He was introduced to the world of wizards and Muggles after the death of actor Richard Harris in 2002.
Michael Gambon Dies At The Age Of 82 After Battling With Pneumonia
The official Albus Dumbledore of Hollywood expired after being down with a bout of pneumonia. As reported by the media outlet Variety, Michael Gambon was 82. According to a public statement given by the late actor’s family-
“We are devastated to announce the loss of Sir Michael Gambon. Beloved husband and father, Michael died peacefully in hospital with his wife Anne and son Fergus at his bedside, following a bout of pneumonia.”

The prolific actor had a remarkable television and acting career and his passion for theatre and drama even showed the world that age is just a number. With multiple critically acclaimed and commercially successful TV shows and movies, Michael Gambon went on to become a widely nominated actor and recipient of reputed awards during his acting career.

Jason Issacs, who played the character of Lucius Malfoy took to X formerly known as Twitter to pay tribute to his late co-star. His post mentioned-
“Magnificent Michael Gambon has died. I learned what acting could be from Michael in The Singing Detective — complex, vulnerable, and utterly human. The greatest thrill of being in the Potter films was that he knew my name and shared his fearless, filthy sense of fun with me,”

Actor James Phelps who played the role of Fred Weasley in the Harry Potter series recounted an incident with the late actor Michael Gambon from the set of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, in his post on X. His post read as
” Very sorry to hear about the passing of Michael Gambon. He was, on and off the camera, a legend. Just a little memory of Michael. “

Rupert Grint aka Ron Weasly from Harry Potter expressed his grief on his Instagram account and captioned his tribute as
“So sad to hear about Michael. He brought so much warmth and mischief to every day on set. He captivated me as a kid and became a personal role model of mine for finding the fun and eccentricities in life. Sending all my love to his family, Rupert”
The world of entertainment became a bit darker today after losing one of the brightest and most talented gems from the galaxy of Hollywood.
