“Have zero appetite for the indulgence of spoiled brats”: No Country for Old Men Producer Called Angelina Jolie a “Minimally talented spoiled brat”
The diva of Hollywood, Angelina Jolie, was once accused by a filmmaker of being a pain in the neck at work. Jolie is definitely one of Hollywood’s A-listers, although her attitude while working isn’t appreciated by many filmmakers.
Once, a director claimed that she gets on his nerves if something is not done according to her. Jolie’s relationship with the filmmakers and co-actors has often been problematic, which has highly affected her image in the Hollywood industry as well.
Angelina Jolie’s problematic attitude annoyed the filmmakers
Angelina Jolie needs no introduction. The actress has marked her position in the Hollywood industry with her impeccable talent. Jolie has a massive fan base of people who admire her. However, not everyone perceives her that way, especially the ones who have worked with her.
Back when Jolie was cast in Cleopatra: A Life, she didn’t have a very amicable relationship with its producer, Scott Rudin. Rudin had many complaints with Jolie as their ideas didn’t align with hers. The producer expressed his annoyance about working with Angelina Jolie through an email he wrote to then-Sony president Amy Pascal. He wrote,
“I’m not destroying my career over a minimally talented spoiled brat who thought nothing of shoving this off her plate for eighteen months so she could go direct a movie … I have no desire to be making a movie with her, or anybody, that she runs and that we don’t… There is no movie of Cleopatra to be made (and how that is a bad thing given the insanity and the rampaging ego of this spoiled woman and the cost of this movie is beyond me) … I have zero appetite for the indulgence of spoiled brats and I will tell her this myself if you don’t.”
This wasn’t the first time a filmmaker had an issue on set with Jolie. Jolie’s problematic attitude often created a fiasco on the film sets.

Angelina Jolie disappointed the filmmakers
Angelina Jolie never failed to show her glamour on screen. But her contrary personality behind the camera often affected the work environment.
Director Doug Liman, who worked with Jolie in Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005), shared his troublesome experience of working with Brad Pitt’s ex-wife. He explained that working with Jolie wasn’t easy for him as both of them weren’t on the same page. His ideas about a particular scene greatly differed from Jolie’s ideas. What made the situation worse was Jolie’s stubbornness at work.
When it comes to creating feuds on set with co-workers, Jolie has several tales about it. Yet she has managed to give numerous massively successful films. The Oscar-winning actress has appeared in at least 47 movies in her career. She last appeared in the film Eternals, alongside Richard Madden.
