But before marrying the former actress, the prince dated many celebrities for which he was in the headlines for years as his bitter breakups became public.
Last year, one of Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriends made a shocking revelation about their brief relationship. A reality tv star, Catherine Ommanney broke her silence as she shared her dating experience with Prince Harry. In a candid conversation with The Sun, she revealed she had the best time of her life while dating the Duke of Sussex. Ommanney and Prince Harry met at a mutual friend’s house, which later turned into a passionate love affair.
She said,
“We got into the bath with our clothes on and one of our friends took a photo on my phone. We started play fighting and I think we were wrestling on and off for about 15 minutes when I told him I needed to go home … he lifted me by my waist off the floor and held me against the wall. He gave me the most incredible, passionate kiss I have ever had in my life.”
At the time, Catherine Ommanney was 34 years old and Prince Harry was 21. Even with their 13 years age gap, the couple started dating. The Real Housewives of D.C. star continued,
“I think we both quite fancied each other even though he was way too young for me. If he wasn’t a royal and was maybe ten years older he would be my perfect man.”
According to Catherine Ommanney, she and the prince had a one-month relationship in 2006.

Prince Harry released his memoir Spare, on January 10th, 2023, and since then, it’s been a whirlwind of headlines, interviews, and aftermath of his shocking claims against the royals. Catherine Ommanney claims her ex-boyfriend would have looked better if he had married someone like Kate Middleton. During the release of his bombshell memoir, Ommanney was a guest on GB News and the reality star shared her thoughts about Prince Harry’s marriage with Meghan Markle.
She said,
“In my opinion, he’s chosen somebody who is almost the polar opposite … I would have loved for him to have ended up with somebody like Kate, who is suitable for the role.”
She continued,
“I genuinely feel sorrowful because he’s dug himself a really big hole. He’s saying he’s happy but he doesn’t really look happy to me. He looks the saddest I’ve ever seen him.”
Talking about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s six-part Netflix series, she said,
“What I saw of him at the time, he was desperately searching for freedom and privacy, and yet what he’s done is completely turn the whole situation full circle, and now he’s got no privacy and no freedom.”
Ommanney added,
“I mean look who he is with. Meghan is manipulating and controlling. He’s not the guy that I met. I know it was a long time ago but I really definitely think that he’s not the person I met at all. I still have a lot of respect for him and vice versa, but I’m just really sad for him and I’m sad for the monarchy and the royal family.”
