It is not a hidden fact that Benji Madden is Cameron Diaz’s (who happens to be his wife) best and biggest cheerleader.
Simply days after it was initially announced that Cameron Diaz, who is 49 now, will be soon returning to the big screen in an all-new Netflix movie, titled Back in Action.

The actress will be seen alongside Django Unchained star Jamie Foxx, as revealed by a family source to PEOPLE that Madden, 43, “is really excited for her.”
“He encouraged her to unretire,” the insider added.

Diaz Is ‘A Bit Nervous’ About Her Return
“She feels a bit rusty and nervous about it, but mostly excited,” the insider adds. “She is ready to tackle this movie project.”
Cameron Diaz also took the opportunity, sharing the audio clip to her Insta Story, captioning, “@iamjamiefoxx only you could get me back in action! I can’t frickin wait it’s gonna be a blast!”

Diaz — who got married to Madden around six years back and the duo even has an adorable 2 year-old-daughter, Raddix. Cameron Diaz — previously stepped away from acting after the actress starred as Miss Hannigan in Annie (2014), where she co-starred alongside Jamie Fox.
Diaz also went on to heap a lot of praise on her husband, while appearing in March on Michelle Visage’s Rule Breakers podcast, almost setting ‘couple goals’, saying, “He’s really taught me to value myself a lot more.”
Diaz also revealed that she wasn’t really expecting to feel the way she did initially, because as “was receiving so much validation elsewhere and in all these other ways” prior to her relationship with Madden.
“With our marriage, I learned how to really go all in. You know what I mean? … Nothing else comes before this,” she added. “It’s not hard to do, because it’s the most valuable thing I have.”
For Diaz and Madden, “We know that, no matter what, we can just go and be just a family anywhere, and we’re fine,” she explained. “We don’t need any of the things that we have, other than each other.”
