Leonardo DiCaprio broke his “dating age limit” for Gigi Hadid and now apparently has again returned to his old habits. It is rumored that the Titanic actor is currently dating a nineteen-year-old model. And lo-and-behold, as soon as the news was on the air, people rushed to find out who the mystery lady is. Fans then proceeded to hound her on every social media platform. As a result of which, Eden Polani had to deactivate her Instagram account.
DiCaprio is currently facing a lot of backlash for stuping to such a low extent.
Eden Polani succumbed to the pressure
Following the news of Eden Polani allegedly dating Leonardo DiCaprio, she deactivated her account on Instagram. She is a French Israeli model with around 230,000 followers on the social media platform. The model mainly documented her work travels and selfies with her friends on the platform. After the news broke about the model possibly dating the Oscar-winning actor, she gained thousands of followers rapidly. Many people started hunting her down and critiquing her for her choices and warning her under her posts. Before deactivating her account, she shared a story captioning, “Long time no see,” in New York City hotel. The model was last seen at John F. Kennedy International Airport before the deletion of her account.
Since then, her account was recovered and she is back again at the gram. Although it is not quite clear why the model decided to go away from the platform, it is speculated it was in order to hide from the internet police. But the fact that she is back again, shows that she is ready to face the haters head-on.
Leonardo DiCaprio is facing backlash for dating a teenager
Leonardo DiCaprio facing backlash for dating someone much younger than him is nothing new. The rumors sparked after the two were seen at Ebony Riley’s EP release party together over the weekend. Although nothing can be confirmed yet, an insider stated,
“There is zero truth to this. He was seated next to [Polani] at a music party, along with many other people,–It’s just silly. Leo clearly can’t be dating every single person that [he’s] in a room with.”
After this, Megyn Kelly had to say a lot about the situation on her SiriusXM podcast The Megyn Kelly Show,
“He is now dating a teenager, literally a teenager. He’s in the news every week for how he won’t date anybody past age 25. If he does, it makes news. And now he’s actually gone down to a teenager. She could literally be his daughter,”
Kelly also doesn’t have any hope for the actor and said,
“I feel like this guy from the rate of things is never going to know the joy of meeting somebody who he can fall in deep love with and build a family with. He’s just going to keep banging teenagers for the rest of his life.”
Both parties are yet to comment on the situation. Till then both of them are lying low and waiting for the news to hopefully blow over.
