“He made her look stupid”: Oprah Winfrey Didn’t Invite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to her Birthday Party as the Royal Couple Insulted Her With “Spare”?
It reportedly appears that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s public airing of their own family matters may have backfired on them by making their close friends distance themselves from the royal couple.
This is being proven by the latest insult to the royal couple, which has apparently been directed by Oprah Winfrey. She reportedly omitted the couple from the guest list of her recent birthday celebration. The legendary host of talk shows celebrated her 69th birthday over the weekend in Los Angeles which was attended by megastars like Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, Priyanka Chopra, and Sharon Stone.
The royal couple had given a candid interview to Oprah Winfrey after breaking ties with his royal family and ceasing to serve as working royals.

In the interview with Oprah Winfrey, the couple was open about their choice to distance themselves from the royal family. The Duke also revealed that a member of the royal family had voiced concern over the color of his skin prior to his birth.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were reportedly uninvited to Oprah Winfrey’s birthday party
A lot of what the Sussexes went through as members of the royal family was made clear in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Well, talking about Winfrey’s recent birthday bash, the event was well-attended and organized by skincare company Anastasia Beverly Hills in honor of its 25th anniversary, but Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were nowhere to be seen. Winfrey and the royal couple have been close friends in the past.
Winfrey was even invited to the royal couple’s wedding, and after the ceremony, they decided to sit down with her for their candid interview after giving up their jobs as working royals.
According to a royal commentator, Kara Kennedy, writing for The Spectator, the Duke, and Duchess of Sussex may have lost favor among their Hollywood A-listers friends as a result of the publication of Spare.

The 38-year-old royal prince, Prince Harry “made her look stupid” with his recent remarks about the monarchy in support of the book Spare, according to Kennedy, who added that it’s “easy to see why” Prince Harry and Markle weren’t invited to Winfrey’s party.
Prince Harry refused to make ‘racist allegations’ in Spare
In their interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021, the Duke made the incredibly contentious claim that a royal member of his family was racist. According to Kara Kennedy, “Harry and Meghan’s campaign to finish off the British monarchy – and they used Oprah as a pawn” was the purpose of that interview.
Though, there was no mention of those racial accusations that can be found in Prince Harry’s autobiography. In a January television interview with ITV, the Duke admitted he didn’t think the royal family is racist and refused that he had never said anything to that effect.
Kennedy also stated that the royal couple has not been invited to any celebrity events because some A-listers are concerned that the couple would probably reveal their personal information as well.
