Jane Fonda and Michael Jackson shared a great bond of friendship from the early phases of their career. And skinny dipping with Michael Jackson might sound implausible, but that’s what Jane Fonda and Michael Jackson had done together when he visited his friend on the sets of On Golden Pond and stayed with her for 10 days.
Jackson was there to visit one of his heroes, Katherine Hepburn who was initially not happy with the idea of entertaining a kid she had not heard of, but later agreed and told him stories and her every story had a lesson embedded in it. While recalling those times, Fonda shared that one of the stories that Hepburn narrated to Jackson was about Laurette Taylor.
Jane Fonda’s Close Friendship With Michael Jackson
During her recent Watch What Happens Live appearance, Jane Fonda reflected on her friendship with late pop star, Michael Jackson. Fonda shared that she found Jackson a very interesting and touching character during her friendship with the singer. The two shared a close and warm friendship and Jane Fonda even attended the presentation of Jackson’s album, Thriller, in 1983 at CBS Records to celebrate his newly released double platinum-certified album.
Jane Fonda even arranged Jackson’s meeting with Katherine Hepburn and later Hepburn accepted Jackson and would tell him stories on the sets in between shots. Fonda shared that she and Jackson became friends in their early careers and she grew close to the pop culture icon. Based on her friendship with Jackson, Fonda even said that Jackson would have not loved aging.
All About Jane Fondas’s New Revelations About Michael Jackson
Andy Cohen recently interviewed Jane Fonda for Watch what happens Live and Fonda’s revelations about Michael Jackson grabbed immediate attention. The Coming Home actress was heard saying, ” I went to his house a lot, he came to my house a lot. We lived together. And I went skinny dipping with him- also, by the way with Greta Garbo. How about that? Put that in your pipe and smoke it.”
Michael Jackson wanted to learn acting on a serious note and for this, he approached two of the highly acclaimed actresses of that time, Katherine Hepburn and Jane Fonda. The two actresses were then shooting for their upcoming film, On Golden Pond, and Michael Jackson came there to stay for 10 days so that he could meet Katherine Hepburn. Fonda shared in her recent interview that the two stayed together for 10 days and even went skinny dipping together during that time. Fonda revealed that Jackson looked skinny when naked.
Jane Fonda also talked about French director, René Clément and how he wanted to be in bed with her. She recalled the incident saying that “Well, he wanted to go to bed with me because he said [my] character [in 1964’s ‘Joy House’] had to have an orgasm in the movie, and he needed to see what my orgasms were like.” Back then Fonda was 27 and Clement 51, the director said in French and Fonda pretended to have not understood the message.
