Actor Bruce Willis was the protagonist in author turned director Manoj Night Shyamalan’s The Sixth Sense. The horror thriller revolves around the life of child psychologist Malcolm Crowe treating a young boy, who ends up encountering dead people. During an interview with the media outlet The Hollywood Reporter, director M. Night Shyamalan spoke about the special bond he shares with the Armageddon actor. He said-
“Yeah, he obviously means the world to me. I would do anything for him and his family, and it’s been super tough for everybody involved. I had a lot of tears about it, and my father is also suffering from similar kinds of things. So having it on both fronts, it’s profound to realize how precious everything is.
He further added-
So I’m just grateful for what he did because he didn’t micromanage at all. He protected me from the system early, so I’m forever grateful to him.”
Bruce Willis is one of the favorite actors of M. Night Shyamalan. The American actor is currently down with a neurological disorder that affects the speech and movement of the person affected.

Throughout the years, the actor-director duo grew fond of each other. When director M. Night Shyamalan learned about Bruce Willis’ medical condition, the filmmaker was very disheartened. During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the director spoke about his great friend and actor’s health condition. He said-
“All my love and respect to my big brother, Bruce Willis. I know his wonderful family surrounds him with support and strength. He will always be the hero on the poster on the wall as a child.”
He further continued-
“Obviously he’s very important to me. I would do anything for him and his family, it must have been very hard for all the people around him. I cried a lot for him, my dad is going through something similar. I will be eternally grateful to him,”
Bruce Willis is currently suffering from Aphasia. It is a medical term used to describe speech impairment like comprehension, reading, and speaking. The actor’s family and friends have stood like a rock during the testing times of his life. He is currently living with his wife Emma Heming Willis along with his kids.
