“He should get fired immediately”: Fans Have a Hard Time Believing James Gunn’s Claiming His FB Account Got Hacked Before Shameful Tim Burton, Michael Keaton Batman Comments
James Gunn and Peter Safran were roped in by the reputed DC studios as co-CEOs after the back-to-back critical and commercial flops. The duo made headlines in an attempt to revamp and reinvent the superhero franchise as prominent A-listers were shown the exit door and newcomers were welcomed on board. According to their short stint with DCEU, things have not changed much as the recently released Blue Beetle has also joined the list of flops.
The Guardians Of The Galaxy filmmaker is one of the most responsive Hollywood celebrities when it comes to social media. He was criticized for his insensitive and careless online opinion made by the director almost 11 years ago, which resurfaced recently.

Eleven years ago, the American filmmaker criticized one of the most popular projects from the House of DCU, Batman. He expressed his dislike for the reputed actor Michael Keaton’s Caped Crusader and even called his voice ridiculous. He further mentioned that Tim Burton’s Batman was “one of the most boring films ever as it was poorly written.”
The Suicide Squad director even ripped apart the iconic portrayal of Jack Nicholson’s Joker and commented- “f**k you, everyone involved in that travesty.”
James Gunn did not leave one of the greatest filmmakers in Hollywood Christopher Nolan. He mentioned having problems with the Dunkirk director’s projects. According to the media outlet The Direct, his comment read as
“I have problems with both of Nolan’s films – I don’t think either one is classic, and I don’t even really think Batman Begins is good,”
This is not the first time James Gunn’s social media antics have landed him in trouble. Previously he was fired over his past scandalous jokes that resurfaced during the filming of Guardians Of The Galaxy. Later he had to apologize for it.
