Marvel actor Chris Pratt rose to fame with his portrayal of Andy Dwyer in NBC’s sitcom Parks and Recreation from 2009 to 2015. He also appeared in movies including Moneyball, Zero Dark Thirty, Jennifer’s Body, and more before he went on to establish himself as Star-Lord in the MCU.

Megan Fox explains how Chris Pratt accidentally knocked down her female agent

Actress Megan Fox appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live where she shared her experience and love for UFC. Fox proudly said that she has a UFC Fight Pass and she knows all the players and their backstories. Talking about one specific fight she had attended back in the day that left her terrified was the 2018 infamous UFC 229 brawl between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov. She went on to explain to the guest host Arsenio Hall,

“I was actually at the Conor-Khabib fight a couple of years ago, when all that chaos happened. Everyone had to like, run. We had to like escape.”

She continued that when she saw the ring girls leave, she knew that it was a sign for her to run as well. The actress added that she along with her agents who were with her at the event was running and when she looked back, she saw her female agent; Carol knocked to the ground. Fox noted that her agent’s blonde hair flying everywhere and added that she kept thinking;

“Who just knocked Carol over? It was Chris Pratt. He was also escaping for his life.”

Megan Fox explained that they had to stay in one of the fighter’s dressing rooms until things went normal. Conor McGregor lost the fight to Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Chris Pratt’s upcoming sci-fi The Electric State expected to end the Russo brothers’ track record outside MCU

Russo brothers have had a successful career with MCU movies but they haven’t been lucky while working outside the Marvel Cinematic Universe.  They have directed movies outside MCU featuring the Marvel actors; Extraction, The Gray Man, 21 Bridges, and Cherry. While the performances of the actors have been appreciated, the movie overall hasn’t been appreciated yet.

Now, with Chris Pratt’s upcoming sci-fi movie The Electric State scheduled for 2024 release, it is expected to break the track record for the Russo brothers’ movies outside the MCU.

With The Electric State, the Russo brothers along with studios are hopeful that the movie is going to break the record of them not having success outside MCU. The Electric State is based on Simon Stålenhag’s graphic novels that revolve around a teenager in a dystopian alternate version of the ‘90s and her companion robot setting out to find her missing brother.

Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown will be playing the teenage girl in the movie along with Pratt playing Keats, who is a smuggler and ends up meeting Brown’s character during her journey. Anthony Mackie, Brian Cox, Ke Huy Quan, and more are expected to feature in the movie. Fans along with studios are hopeful for the movie to reverse the curse on Russo Brothers’ career outside Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Electric State will premiere on Netflix.
