“He was still married”: Shia LaBeouf Shamelessly Triple Timed Sia and FKA Twigs While Still Being Married, Making Them Feel Like He’s Like A “Sick Puppy”
Sia Kate Isobelle Furler is a well-known Australian singer and songwriter who is famous for albums like Color the Small One and Healing Is Difficult. She has been in a relationship with American actor Shia LaBeouf since 2015. She came out with a statement alleging Shia LaBeouf was in multiple dating, while he was already married.
Sia spills the beans that Shia LaBeouf was juggling in multiple dating
Singer Sia and actor Shia LaBeouf’s relationship began in 2015. According to an interview with GQ magazine, the singer opened up about her relationship, alleging that LaBeouf’ was dating her and vocalist, FKA Twigs while he was married to Mia Goth. ‘Both of us thought we were only dating him. But that wasn’t the case. And he was still married”.
The 45-year-old singer claimed LaBeouf sang the same line to her and Twigs while dating them. Sia and FKA Twigs came to realize the truth after they spoke to each other. Sia went on, saying the actor wanted to marry her and live a sober life with her. Despite’s relationship was toxic, and she admitted that she always loved him and had a place in her heart because she felt like “he was such a sick puppy”.
Sia initially made her allegation against the Transformers actor in a cryptic tweet posted in December 2020, accusing him of being a pathological liar and claiming that she was emotionally manipulated by him, who deceived her into an adulterous relationship by falsely pretending to be single. Her tweet read, “I too have been hurt emotionally by Shia, a pathological liar, who conned me into an adulterous relationship claiming to be single”.
Sia decided to tell her story after Tahliah Barnett, known as FKA Twigs, filed a lawsuit against him accusing LaBeouf of physical assault, emotional trauma, and intentionally transmitting STDs while in the relationship, which spanned nearly a year between 2018 and 2019. The actor denied all of the claims after weeks.
Court reveals shocking details on Shia LaBeouf
LaBeouf’s legal team initially sent a letter to FKA Twigs, claiming they were vehemently rejecting all the allegations made against him as per Barnett’s complaint. They denied each accusation and stated that Twigs hadn’t suffered any harm from LaBeouf. Additionally, LaBeouf urged her to cover all the legal expenses and “further relief as the Court may deem just and proper.”
Twigs published a tweet in the same month describing the struggle she was going through:
“It may be surprising to you to learn that I was in an emotionally and physically abusive relationship. It was hard for me to process too, during and after. I never thought something like this would happen to me.”
In August 2022, LaBeouf admitted that he hurt FKA Twigs: “I hurt that woman, and in the process of doing that, I hurt many other people.” The case was then postponed until the autumn of 2023 due to scheduling constraints.
Originally set for April 17, the hearing was repeatedly postponed due to the parties’ work schedules colliding with the proceeding, causing depositions to be difficult. And now the hearing is set for December 6, 2023. Meanwhile FKA Twigs has decided to give away the amount of her potential damage to the charities that have committed to supporting individuals who are facing similar horrors.
