Heidi Klum Gets Blasted for ‘Offensive’ Pregnancy April Fool’s Joke as 49 Year Old Model Expresses Desire to Have More Children
There’s a fine line between tasteful and funny jokes when it comes to April Fool’s Day, as Heidi Klum, regrettably, discovered the hard way. A prank that many have deemed to be offensive and insensitive has resulted in the America’s Got Talent’s judge receiving a barrage of criticism and backlash.
Even worse, it appears that Klum wasn’t the only one who participated in the prank. With Simon Cowell’s exception, she enlisted the aid of the other judges from America’s Got Talent: All-Stars. Sadly, the joke did not go well, and her callous attitude was quickly criticized by her followers.
The American and German judge from America’s Got Talent, along with her fellow judges, are receiving a lot of backlash online for their April Fools’ Day hoax.
The 49-year-old television host took part in what she believed to be a fun prank. Unfortunately, she has been called out by her fans and followers, so it appears that the joke did not quite land with them.
Is Heidi Klum Pregnant?
Heidi Klum pulled the infamous joke by making a fake pregnancy announcement. Fans quickly realized, though, that her ‘bump’ was suspiciously missing from the image when they looked at it more closely. This led many to suspect that she was wearing a prosthetic bump. Fans have accused her of being insensitive to women who have trouble getting pregnant or carrying a child, which has only fanned the flames.
Klum, on the other hand, sported a set of slippers and an all-black outfit. Sofia Vergara, in contrast, was spotted wearing a black robe and pretending to kiss the baby bump.
“Congratulations. @heidiklum, coworkers @sofiavergara and I, are the first to know,” read the caption on the post. Vergara reportedly shared the image again on her social media accounts with the caption, “I am going to be an aunt.”
Canadian comedian, and television personality, Howie Mandal also flaunted his stomach while Klum pretended to kiss it, according to The Mirror.
However, Klum was no longer sporting her baby bump, which indicated that she was not expecting.

The Pregnancy Jokes Are Not Funny To The Fans
As a result of Heidi Klum’s April 1st prank, there has been a swift and harsh response from fans, with many venting their anger and displeasure on social media. “Excuse me, this isn’t funny for so many human beings,” one person said, adding, “If this is a joke, it’s not a good one.”
Given the difficulties that many women experience when trying to conceive, the prank was viewed as offensive and tone-deaf by many fans. Comments such as “Being pregnant isn’t a funny April Fools joke,” “Very tacky to post something like this while there are so many struggling with infertility,” and “Being pregnant isn’t a funny April Fools joke.” have been flooding on social media sites.
Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and Howie Mandel took part in the fake pregnancy prank that many fans found offensive and tasteless, drawing a lot of backlash. “Not a pregnancy joke for April Fools,” one person remarked.
For the universe, Klum is already the mother of four children- Leni Olumi Klum, Henry Günther Ademola Dashtu Samuel, Lou Sulola Samuel, and Johan Riley Fyodor Taiwo Samuel.
Also, the German and American model recently admitted to her desire to have more children. She shared that she would be willing to discuss some options with her musician husband, Tom Kaulitz.
